Boryana Momerin

My name is Boryana Momerin,

going through my personal path of growing up, I had the chance to meet Somatic Experiencing therapy in 2013. I personally tested what this method of restoring mental health and balance in man can do and realized the most important meeting of his life by meeting himself and the power behind him. I was struck by the results in healing my personal injuries and regaining balance and regulation in my body. This inspired me to take the path of vocational training to help bring this knowledge to Bulgaria and reach more people who need it. Currently, we are only three Bulgarians in the world who work in Somatic Experiencing.

I come from another professional field so before I started my training at Somatic Experiencing I had to receive specialized training related to the human body and/or psyche. For this purpose, I completed the specialties “Reflexology” and “Massage Therapy” at the NSA.

My studies in London and Edinburgh started in 2017 and ended in May 2020. I helped to carry out the first SE introductory seminar in Bulgaria in October 2019 in front of therapists and students of BINAP (Bulgarian Neo-Rayyan Institute of Analytical Psychotherapy) and participated in it as an SE assistant.

At the end of May 2020, I begin a two-year course in NARM (Neuro Affective Relational Model), a therapeutic method for the treatment of trauma in early childhood development and attachment trauma in Brussels, Belgium. At the same time as training in SE and NARM, I also carry out a master’s degree in psychological counseling at BSU.

I have the honor of being taught by Peter Levin’s students and collaborators, as well as by himself. In addition to their therapeutic practice, many of them participate in humanitarian missions supporting victims of the worst natural disasters and military conflicts in the world. They became my teachers of humanity, tolerance and high professionalism. I have taken on their confidence that man has the power to heal his spirit after the worst blows of fate.

Like my teachers, I also believe that trauma does not doom man to a hopeless existence. Listening to the voice of the body, we have tools to treat it.

As an SE therapist, I am happy to be part of the process of regaining my client’s balance by connecting with the wisdom of nature and the power of their spirit.

I would be honored to work with you and share my knowledge of Somatic Experiencing. I hope to teach you skills to reduce the impact of stress in everyday life, as well as to achieve more balance, joy and satisfaction in your life.

It takes strength and courage to explore your own consciousness and free him from what traumatizes him. I feel privileged to support you in achieving this goal.
