Bodynamic
Bodynamic, a system for somatic psychology and analysis, is a pioneering method of somatic development psychology and psychotherapy that integrates modern research into children’s psychomotor development, cognitive and depth psychotherapy, brain research and special emphasis on contact quality and healthy relationships.
The main belief of the system Bodynamic is that the human being is a social being motivated by a deep desire for contact and connection with others, without losing pride and dignity, seeking what we call a relationship.
TheInstitute Bodynamic International is an organization for teaching somatic psychology of development, established in Denmark. He has been teaching worldwide for more than thirty years. It was founded in 1982 by Lisbeth Marcher and ten of her colleagues. The analysis Bodynamic System was established in 1985.
Bodynamic has the understanding that dignity and a sense of self-importance are built in the individual through a deep sense of reciprocity and compassionate affirmation. When the basic aspects and emotions of the Self are not affirmed or supported in childhood, this leads to the creation of protective forces, which then become a source of problems in relationships later in life.
Using the body as a resource, we help build new psychological competencies in the individual that were missed during childhood development. Building these new resources often leads to a new deep sense of self and a being that was initially difficult to imagine.
The human body is integrated into therapy through precise knowledge of the psychological function of each muscle, based on data obtained from 30 years of systematic research on child development and psychotherapeutic experience of adult clients.
Unique to the system Bodynamic is the focus on building resources as the foundation of internal security. A qualified therapist trained in this comprehensive discipline can determine which age-appropriate resources the client needs to learn, and can then continue to work with specific muscle activation movements within the age level of development. When a person extracts forgotten internal resources or develops new ones, he becomes able to approach the deeper layers of his traumatic experiences with success. Building resources and awareness also allows a person to move towards a much wider range of choices in life.
